Your Parent Teacher Friends Association raises money for school by holding events such as discos, the summer and Christmas fair and a range of other fun activities. As a PTFA we have been able to support the school in many ways to benefit the children, such as purchasing a complete samba band, and more recently new exciting line markings on the playground and  new den building equipment.

We are always very keen to gather new support for the PTFA so if you could offer your help in anyway or have any great fund raising ideas please get in contact.

The chair of our PTFA is Zoe Nursey.

Cottingham Primary School is a Church of England school within the Parish of St Mary Magdalene, Cottingham cum Middleton. This is part of the wider Benefice of Gretton with Rockingham and Cottingham  with East Carlton in the Diocese of Peterborough. The Church has close links with the school. Members of the church serve on the governing body or in other capacities and school assemblies are held at the church on special occasions such as Christmas, Advent and Easter and at the end of the school year. Assemblies are also led in school by the vicar who also serves on the Section 48 committee and supports the school in pastoral matters.

Our Primary School

Our strong moral values run through our curriculum and we place our pupils at the heart of everything we do. We are very proud of the school and its achievements. We have friendly staff who actively encourage parents to get involved and share their views.
